Trio Aurora Concert

Trio Aurora met during their studies at the Udk in Berlin. The Brahms Trio is their first project and the trio was formed because of the passion of the musicians for chamber music. Ulrike and Susanne are occupied mostly as chamber music and orchestra musicians and Ben is working as a concert pianist.

In the first part of the concert will be presented Trio of Johannes Brahms op.8. It’s a representative piece for the genre of Piano Trios. The choice of this piece was determined by the Violinist of Trio Aurora, who made already a thorough research on the topic of this composition, since interestingly the first time it was composed in the year 1854 and revised in 1889. Both versions are dramatically different, and the presented version will be the revised one. 
In the second part of the concert will be presented a selection of Violin/Cello Duos by the members of the trio.
