Babyki World

Babayki is a multi-dimensional ensemble formed by the singers and musicians Anna Oustinov, Lauriane Maudry and Juliette Beauchamp. Linked to Eastern Europe by their slavic origins, the rediscovery of these traditional song’s repertoire arouses their desire to share these powerful women’s voices which for generations have been expressing pain, nostalgia, exile, but also nature and love. 

Born in France, the three artists met in Berlin during their studies at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler. They have been invited to perform at festivals such as the Errichetta Festival (Rome), Théâtre de la Colline (Paris), Heidelberger Frühling, KAHO Theater Karlshorst (Berlin), Festival de la Rectorie (France). 

Searching for a unique sound identity, their performances combine diverse inspirations and mediums such as voices, instruments, poetic theater. 

Babayki aims to bring beauty, share the music they love, and create a moment where every soul is free to wander.
